Objective #

As the importance of Research Data Management (RDM) grows, Kyoto University has also begun its initiatives in this area.
This seminar will introduce the current status and future plans for RDM efforts at the university, considering the following key points:

  • The lifecycle of research data generated through research activities and the challenges in its storage and utilization.
  • The Data Management Plan (DMP) required by KAKENHI (Grants-Aid for Scientific Research) and similar funding bodies.
  • Kyoto University’s Open Access Policy.
