Gakunin RDM is a service for researchers designed to store, manage, and share research data and other related materials. It's operated by the National Institute of Informatics (NII) and is available to all Kyoto University members who have an SPS-ID or ECS-ID.
Features #
- Share data with collaborators in a closed environment.
- Version control and access control for individual files.
- Register and manage file metadata.
- Record research trails for research integrity.
About Data Storage #
You have access to NII’s standard storage, which provides 100GB per user. There’s a 5GB limit per file.
Beyond the standard storage, you can increase your storage capacity by connecting services you’ve personally subscribed to or purchased, such as Dropbox or Box. Additionally, storage options specifically for Kyoto University members are currently being prepared.
