DMPs Requested for KAKENHI #
A Data Management Plan (DMP) is required for all research projects, including new and ongoing ones, conducted in or after fiscal year 2024.

Support at Kyoto University #
Kyoto University provides the Kyoto University Research Information Repository “KURENAI” as a storage location for research data to be published.
The simple flow from KAKENHI grant approval to data publication using KURENAI is as follows:
- When the grant is approved|Create a DMP according to the sample format provided by JSPS. Submission is not required at this stage.
- During research|Manage daily information according to your DMP (e.g., save data to online storage).
- Update the DMP as needed.
- After research|Handle long-term data according to your DMP.
- Submit metadata of research data to JSPS. Submission of the research data itself is not required.
